Weigh in and a bastard

100_4313

I went to weigh in this morning. This week, they made me keep my shoes on. Of course, I had my super heavy Asics Gels on. Blah. I still lost .8kg, which according to my converter is 1.76lbs, which I think would have been rounded to 2lbs at home. So I lost 2 lbs. Woot! Makes me wonder what I would have been without my shoes. :| Now I am on the lookout for super light $ store type flip flips.

On the way home we stopped at the Farmer's Market to pick up some flowers for Valeria's sister. After we bought the flowers, we walked up to a booth to buy some white asparagus. The old guy that was manning the booth says something in German and I say "Sorry, I don't speak German." His reply was "Nicht für Sie!" - Not for you. The SOB wouldn't sell to me because I don't speak German. That's ok... his white asparagus didn't look so good.

Oh, that guy IS a bastard. He can choke on that asparagus.... Ok, that just made me so darn mad.

And I can't believe you are sick on your trip. How terrible. I really hope you are feeling better soon.

I'm glad you are blogging from Germany-It's great to check in with you and nice to see your pictures. Looks great except for the sick and the asparagus ass.

Andre was pretty pissed when I told him. He thought about going there and asking the guy what his problem was but as we all know, it would have been pointless. Once an asshat always an asshat!

I am feeling much better. I can actually breathe now!

I am trying to blog daily but with being sick there wasn't much going on. I think tomorrow we are taking the train to Hannover so there should be a lot to talk about!

Nice updates! I looked at your pics. I COULD NOT BELIEVE the Al Bundy Shoe store. What is WITH that?

They are fascinated with anything American over here, especially TV shows. Even if it is old. I can watch quite a bit of American TV on TNT - everything from Murder She Wrote (Mord ist ihr Hobby - Murder is her hobby) to Everybody Loves Raymond (Alle lieben Raymond) to Nip Tuck (Nip/Tuck - Schönheit hat ihren Preis - Nip/Tuck - Beauty has its price.)

Heck, I even have Adult swim, robot Chicken and about 900 (give or take 895) Disney channels!
